De Gama 6 best in price range

I am liking the look of the Coleman De Gama 6.

It needs to do a (probably wet) weekend in the west country and more than 2 weeks in France in August. Family holiday with an 8yo and a grumpy tween.

£250c is the budget and for the cash this looks pretty good - any thoughts?

Looks good - the sleeping pods look fairly narrow though at 130cms each. How will you configure the sleeping - is it for 3 or 4 people?

We looked at that and was on our shortlist, decided however that without the extension that the living space was too small if it was wet and we were stuck in there. If you are getting the extension then fair enough.

We ended up getting a vango Maritsa as more living space. Loads of good tents on eBay/gum tree that might be worth considering??

Actually should add that we saw it in a camping store and it looked good and well built.
