Sociable campsite for an only child

We are having to take a weeks holiday this August so thought we'd try camping for the first time with our almost 4 year old.

Can anyone recommend a campsite where my dd is likely to meet other children? I worry that DD could be a little lonely stuck with me and dh for a full week!

Am thinking of New Forest/Dorset area but in reality can travel to most places.

Thanks

Just choose somewhere with a playground and you'll be fine.

Kids make friends really easily at these places. There'll be loads of them.

East Fleet in Dorset was nice.

I agree my ds is 8 and always makes loads of friends. It's great to see as he can't play out where we live (busy road)Smile

Camping tends to be really sociable anyway so depends on what type of camping you like.

Longthorns farm is fab as the tents only camp round the edge of the field so all the children play in the middle if it. It is next door to monkey world too !
Our favourite campsite.
