another camping in the Dordogne thread

Can't decide where to go - had settled on Mathevies but am now tempted by Les Valades or le capyrou

main issue is that we need it to be reasonably peaceful for dc1 who has SN and I wondered if Mathevies might be a bit too social (read - have kids running wild that he will find stressful)

Anyone been to any of these recently? Thanks

We went to les Valades last year and are returning this summer we loved it so much. Very chilled vibe, great pool and lake. They also have a low key free kids club for 2 hrs mon-fri in the summer which DD (8) loved. Funnily enough our decision was between thhis and Mathevies but the lake won us over. Also you have a campfire at Les valades which is a rarity in France

I've been to le capeyrou. It's very peaceful (we went in September). We didn't have kids with us so I can't comment. Now I have kids I'd definitely consider it again.
