Can anyone recommend a good camp site within 30 minutes of camber sands??

A camp site with good clean toilet facilities and maybe a small kiddy swing or two but that allows fires

I stayed at Park Resorts which isn't what you want, but if you turned left out of there and drove along that road, there were many little campsites with basic facilities and a bit more campish (is that a word). Also driving towards Rye from the north, on the Main road, there are lots of places along the way which were pretty country and had camping facilities.

Park Farm nr Bodiam has good toilets, showers and washing up area, a basic play area (swing hanging from beam) and allows campfires anywhere. Its a collection of fields and you get to chose where you camp. There's also a tent selling firewood if you can't be bothered to collect! £10 for 3 sacks. We took our 22 month old twins there and they loved it - plenty of space to run around and a very relaxed atmosphere. About a mile south of Bodiam.
