Can I pack my Outwell Oregon away in one piece?

We are away camping at the moment, wel at the moment I am not away as we have nipped home for a few hours. WE have bought an Outwell Oregon5 this weekend as we got piss wet through in our borrowed tesco tent. Just about anaged to get it up yesterday as the instructions were basically non existent, ahve watched the video footage on the Outwell Website and they seemed to be packing it away inner and outer tent together. Is that correct?

Did you put it up in one piece?

We put our Outwell Colorado away all together, just don't zip the bedroom compartments up fully or it's like trying to pack a helium balloon!

You may need to pack the poles in their separate bag though!

hth - have a look inside the bag, are there any instructions stitched into the lining on a label?

No we put the outer up first and then the inner, the only instructions we had were in a booklet and they were a few lines.

will check the bag though.

I've just looked at the Outwell website and it says you can pitch your tent 'flysheet first or as one' - so I'd say you can take it down as one too.

I do like pitching ours as one, saves loads of time!

Where have you been camping?

Have found the instructions am quite impressed as camping virgins that we managed to get it up without instructions.

We have been at Langdale in the lakes at the NT camsite, we will be going back in about an hour and stopping until Monday and will probably even go back bext weekend.

We are camping converts.

Great Langdale campsite which I can thoroughly recommend (although have not stopped anywhere else so it is up to you how you take the recommendation!

ooh I've been there - dh and I went (pre dd's)seem to remember it was in a beautiful setting but very wet!

You were right about the wet bit, we were caught in a storm last night but it did not spoil our holiday, the campiste was beautiful and one of our most special holidays.
