campsites West of London

Hiya, any recommendations?

We live in West London but don't want to travel through London if you see what I mean.

Must be able to have a fire! We have a toddler in tow. Many thanks in advance xx

Try the CampingUnplugged sites operated by Forgewood - the other sites are W and SW of London. They allow fires.

You can search Campsite UK through a Fires filter - and by map or list - the region by region list takes a couple of minutes t get the hang of because the list all the French and European sites before SW England, for example. Use the fires filter on the home page and then just keep scrolling down til you see the right area / county.

I'd second the recommendation for Inwood, the camping unplugged site near Basingstoke. We're on the outskirts of SW London and got home from there in 50 minutes

Hiya thanks for recommendations, we ended up in Oxford, in a beautiful campsite called Norwood lock, by the Thames. Fires allowed, great atmosphere, the owner was friendly and they came around with wood. Really mellow

We love Inwoood, it's close to us and hard to believe you're so close to Basingstoke!
