We got a new tent. Will there be more good weather along soon so we can try it out?

We bought the Montana 4, for £199. We had a wild idea we'd get the Montana 6 but we back to the tent showroom and stood inside both of them and decided the Montana 6 was too big.

We got the canopy too so that gives us a bit more undercover outdoor space.

I just hope we can get another camping trip in before the end of the summer so we can try it out.

go whatever the weather,

we have an outwell colerado (wihtout the SIG) and it was great is a heavy rainstorm on holiday.

Just go, the kids will have a blast and so will you

I hope so as we are taking our first camping trip next week

Yes, I expect we will.

It would be nice to have some of that evening heat again though wouldn't it. So when the children are tucked up in bed we can sit outside without fleeces on.

just come back from 2 weeks in France, the kids were beside themselves when we left.

Camping is great for kids and if they have a good holiday so do you!

We had a great time. This is our second year camping and we are real converts

We just came back from 2 weeks in Spain. An extended family holiday. Not camping. It was bloody hard work and all the time I was thinking about how relaxing it is to camp with children.

We've only managed one weekend since the baby was born but we're raring to go again. We're planning a long camping trip to France next summer. I'm the teacher's wife, restricted to school holidays

Beatie we bought the montana 4 this year and took it on its inaugural trip last weekend - it was great! I am a total convert even though the weather wasn't as warm as it has been lately.

We're off again next weekend - am hoping to fit in another three trips before it gets too chilly for me.

I think I will be starting a post soon asking for French campsite recommendations.
