Please make me feel like I'm not mad!

Oh God, poor. We are going to freeze aren't we? On our way to Stubcroft Farm now. No EHU and just a portable firepit for 7 adults and 4 children to huddle round. We must be bonkers.

Happy Easter everyone Grin

Brrrrr. I'm glad we didn't go, good luck to you all!

We're off tomorrow morn for just a couple of nights. Looks like rain with a capital R on Sunday sadly... But hey, it's all part of the fun! As long as not pitching ten in the rain we'll survive. Won't we?

It's not that bad and I'm well known for being a cold wimp!

Well, just off to bed now and has been lovely. Layered up and round the fire, I didn't even need a hat! Sleep well everyone.

We're going on Monday, in a tourer though, so the heating will be on if it's cold at night.

Forgewood has been brilliant. Despite 12 degrees it had felt amazingly warm. Staying till Monday because I can't face packing up in the rain tomorrow so we will just brave it out and play uno.

Feeling teeny bit smug for going a day early (Thursday) and having loads of sunshine. Has been very lovely. Clear skies last night meant fab star gazing but very chilly. But sun plus a campfire (for bacon and hot cross buns) meant lovely mornings too. So glad I didn't back out. Smile Happy Easter campers,

Well that was a great success. Really glad we decided to go. It wasn't nearly as cold as I feared and we were all toasty in bed every night. Having a fire was brilliant and although it never stopped raining on Sunday, our group ended up in a lovely pub for dinner on our own (everyone else had done lunch apparently) so it meant the children could roam about without disturbing anyone. Like having our own giant living room with people to make us a delicious dinner - perfect!

Can't wait to go again now.

And I must say our new Vango Palena 600 with awning came into its own during the rain. Great tent. Now just need to get a carpet as picnic rugs are not quite warm enough...

Hope everyone had a great weekend.
