Camping for 8 families near Cotswolds

I thought if found somewhere for our group to camp in July only for them to (eventually) email back saying they don't take groups that big (or I didn't sound nice enough in my email, as no mention of that on the site...)

So, the ideal would be Cotswolds, private field, showers and toilets, space for children, pub within walking distance.

Any thoughts?

We have taken large groups to Britchcombe Farm and White Mark Farm. Neither are cotswolds, but not too far off!

Britchcombe is very basic, portaloos in all fields but they are clean and contain sink/soap/paper etc. Camp fires allowed. Pub is quite a walk.

White Mark Farm is much smaller, but very friendly. No open fires (can have in off ground container) and pub is up the road, as is village with various takeaways and a co-op.

Camping In The Forest sites have also allowed us as groups - your nearest would be Marlborough though.

Hardwick Park - not quite Cotswolds but not too far away.

I haven't stayed here, but know the location (full on Cotswolds).

Far Peak

Thanks for all the ideas. Britchcombe is too far from the pub (not my thoughts BTW, the rest of the group...) and White Mark Farm's silence after 11pm is likely to be a problem (again, not for me, I'd rather it was quiet!).
Hardwick Park say a max of 5 pitches together, unfortunately.
Farpeak is defnitely an option, I'm investigating that one now, but anyone with other ideas please let me know.
It doesn't need to be cotswolds, just roughly that area. Anyone have a field with running water? ;)

FarPeak is OK - we went last yr. Check out UK camping reviews, they're fairly accurate.

We've stayed at thistledown a few times and loved it, relatively basic, very pretty. About twenty mins to the pub, nice farmer' s market in stroud.
