Sandy balls on the edge of the new forest is more of a parc type place. Tbh most sites down there are not that big.

there's one in wimborne that often gets reasonable reviews. check on ukcampsites.co.uk. wilksworth farm it also has a cafe.

Also Wareham Forest Touring Park, edge of Jurassic Coast but have heard Sandy Balls is great but we've always left to last minute and never got in.

there was one we went to for a night in st leonards = shamba holidays. it was a long time ago - i remember it being ok, but you do get road noise from the dual carriageway - constant background.

how close to bournemouth do you want to be? wareham is a bit of a treck - we've been there on our hols before and we live near bournemouth
