Polmanter, St Ives...any good?

Anybody been to polmanter campsite nr st ives?

Thinking of booking a week there in sept before dd1 goes back to school.
And as this is our first ever time camping, need a good site.

but looking at this it's pretty full up.

not been there myself though - am looking for somewhere to go ourselves in August.

Polmanter is lovely, but, there is not much of a park for the kids. We've stayed a couple of times. It's also one of the more expensive parks. The site is spotless.

DH has just (½ hour ago) left for a fortnights camping with DS to go here It has the best park for kids we've seen on any campsite. It's about a mile from the lands end complex and not far from Penzance and St. Ives.
