Well, put a deposit down on it, picking it up at the weekend once the towbar is fitted and we've got a number plate made up. I'm so excited!

Will hopefully take it for a maiden voyage weekend after next. In the meantime, what sort of things are "essentials" to make sure it has/need to buy?

So far my list is:

leisure battery
gas bottle
wheel clamp
waste water bottle/fresh water bottle
electric lamp
torches
radio
hammer for pegging out the sun canopy

bedding (will probably just use duvets this season - invest in proper sleeping bags next season)
cutlery/plastic crockery
folding table/chairs
Washing up liquid
Loo Roll
Towels (face and teatowels)
Misc food/drink (have a fridge in there - yay!)

What other things do I need? I've never been out in a caravan before, folding or otherwise, so a bit of a noob!

No advice, just wanted to share your joy!

Wish it was me

Aw thanks We had to look round a fair few badly cared for ones before finding it - think the kids are just relieved we've finally found one so less boring car journeys for a while
