Shrewsbury folk festival

Really want to go this year and take the DC (12 & 9), so I have a few questions. It would be our first festival though we do camp a few times each year. The dc enjoy live music but is there plenty of other stuff to do? Is the camping area OK? Plenty of toilets, showers etc?
Any info gratefully received

Thi year will be our 4th SFF and our first with our dd (she will be 9 mths!)
The festival is great for kids and adults. They have special activities fir kids which always look fun.
The first yr we camped we were a little concerned about loos etc but there really was no need to worry. There are plenty of loos and showers (all free) best thing to do is choose a time to shower to avoid any ques ( mid afternoon is always good) but hardly ever a massive wait. They have quite a few loos around the sit that are 'propper' in the bars, pavillion, and some in shed type buildings that are better than the portaloos!

All facilities are clean and we'll kept. Head for family section of campsite. You are allowed ( within reason) to set your camp up without size restrictions and have your car onsite-always a bonus.

We won't be camping this year with baby so small but intend to get back in the tent for 2015!

My advice is just do it, you won't regret it, it's the highlight of our year!!
