we have a tourer but was thinking of maybe a longer term pitch, maybe a month at a time? can you do this? what kind of prices do they charge for this? or a seasonal pitch, are these a good idea?

It depends how much you are likely to use it.

We have a tourer which we store on a site. We took a seasonal pitch last summer, it was just over 6 months and we paid £800.

I did hope to visir frequently, but we only went 4 times. So it was q waste of momey really.

I imagine most sites do a seasonal pitch for a few months at a time, but you can ask what they offer.

ye i'm not sure how much we would use it thats why i thought i'd try a month or so. tis a hard one cause sometimes i think if it was on a site i would go more often Confused how far away was your pitch from home princess?

Ours is on a new site - which is only just over an hour from home.

However our DSs are teens -and not interested in going much. So we just haven't used it much.

We will stick to store and stay for this year, which is what we did in the last site for many years. We don't tow our 'van - just keep it on site- and when we want to go we will phone and book a pitch for however long we want to stay- they tow it onto pitch for us.
