Anyone been to or use Go outdoors.co.uk ??

The website looks ok and they don't seem too pricey.

We were thinking of going and having a look, but I just wondered if anyone else has been to a store or brought from them online and if they were any good.

We are still undecided about going camping or not as I am worried about all the stuff we need costing us an arm and a leg.

I've been to the Coventry one. It's OK, very big and plenty of stock. Some of their prices are good, but a lot of the things they sell are quite pricey - depends what you're looking for. I was after a waterproof jacket, and they were no cheaper than Oswald Bailey.

The prices that they advertise are only for card holders, a card costs you £4 a year and you can apply for one in the shop.

Hmmm can't decide wether to go or not LOL

Mind you it would beat sitting in the house all day.

We bought our tent online from them last year and they were great - really cheap, we've also got a new store near us, great for a browse round and they have a good selection of erected tents to look at.

Which store were you going to go to?

It's worth a look, nutty - we were in there for ages, dd had great fun looking at (and climbing into, and crawling around inside, and hiding in) all the tents.

We live just up the road from the Wakefield branch. It's fab! Just been today actually and bought our tent so now very very excited about the summer! DS1 actually thinks of the place bit like a park or a play area we go so often " Can we go and see tents today Mummy" Now, just got to persuade him to sleep on his camping bed .......

Ive been to the Coventyr one too and thought it was pretty good actually .... considering.

They have a sale on right now and some stuff is v cheap.

we bought our tent from there and when we went away with realised there was a manufacturers fault, go outdoors replaced it immediately without hesitation thats after they price matched Blacks current deal to!!
