oh! I saw the 2 person one in millets, and didnt know it came in 3 person, or I would have bought it - looks great! Have you used it yet, or just get it today?

TwoToTango · 09/07/2006 16:04

That looks excellent - good price as well.

Frizbe · 09/07/2006 16:06

I sooo wish they'd do these in 6 person! have seen the smaller ones in action they're so fab

Blandmum · 09/07/2006 16:07

They look so cool.

I have seen the Outwell Popup and it looks such a good tent.

I wish that there was a 4 berth oone...perfect for weekends away

Twiglett · 09/07/2006 16:13

just bought it today .. put it up in garden, took it down again .. up.. down .. up .. down

crawled inside with DH and DS .. would be tight but we could do it . .unfortunately we have DD too

we think we'll take it with us a playroom style tent and keep the original takes 30 mins up and down to sleep in

mb, we've got the 3 second one and we can fit 4 of us in it - just! we have to use sleeping mats not airbeds but it'll be great for that first night in France!

You have to be very firm with them and show them who is boss or they take on a life of their own

treacletart · 09/07/2006 19:20

oh oh oh I want one oh me me!

marthamoo · 09/07/2006 19:23

Oh...I like

LucyCampCat · 09/07/2006 19:27

get thee to decathlon marthamoo and have a go in one!

moyasmum · 09/07/2006 20:12

Bought one at the Decathlon in Sheffield last week. We love it and my 9 nine year old can happily sort it out. Cost £34 .We are going to get so much use out of it this summer

marthamoo · 09/07/2006 20:17

One new tent per season is about my limit, lucy (unless I want a divorce...)

divamummy · 09/07/2006 21:01

will show dh, sounds good. we got one but an old one

ssd · 10/07/2006 08:43

would it sleep 4 of us or too tight?

looks great!

CristinaTheAstonishing · 10/07/2006 09:29

I had a look at those but even the ones that say they are for 3 ppl, when you read further they say for 3 but ideal for 2. I wonder if they'd be big enough for 2 adults + 2 children (6 and 1). I like the speed AND the price.

JanH · 10/07/2006 09:40

If one isn't big enough just get two!

(Is it really 20 secs to put away though? I can imagine a much longer wrestling match than that...)

ssd · 10/07/2006 09:48

me too, I fight with our ELC pop up tent!

LucyCampCat · 10/07/2006 13:44

I'd say you could fit 4 in at a push, but as I said earlier, you'd need sleeping mats acrosss the whole floor, and your little ones are still quite young Christina, if it's not right, you can sell it for a profit on ebay, they go for £65 + pp!!!

CristinaTheAstonishing · 10/07/2006 16:27

Yes, you did Lucy, I re-read it now. Thanks. It sounds pretty good then. Something to get DH started, he still needs some convincing.

crunchie · 10/07/2006 22:13

Love the look of this, might talk to DH about it, pitch two close together/ at right angles, with doors facing and it would be OK for the family
