Recommendations for a BIG campsite on south coast!?

There are 10 adults going and 4 children and we want to camp for just one night on the 15th July. No where takes bookings for one night so I need to find a big campsite where we might be guaranteed the space. I am panicking as I am organising it and everyone is waiting to hear where we're going - HELP!

I'm hoping for a quiteish campsite near the south coast with plenty to do for adults and children.

Any ideas VERY gratefully received!!

I would post a message asking for help on the UK Campsite website, a lot of site owners read it , and when we did this one got back to us with a booking offer. Alternatively, forest holidays tend to have midweek spaces, especially outside term time. They don't have a lot on site, but generally nearby enough.

The UK campsite also has a serach facility to use- I'm not sure where exactly you're looking to go, or what your perameters are?

You might be better going for a site where there is more 'free' camping rather than marked out pitches, so more of a farmer's field type of site, although there is a bit of a contradiction in that you want a quiet site but lots to do as well hmmmm, peachy is right, uk campsite is a good bet or give the tourist info a ring in the area you are thinking about and ask them for ideas?

Holmesley in the New Forest is massive and doesn't have marked pitches.
