Which campsites have you flown to from Manchester?

I am looking at booking a holiday for next year. Hurrah! I'd like some help please... We will fly from Manchester and ideally would like to go to the south of France, but I'm struggling to find somewhere within reach of an airport we can fly to from Manc. We like big lively sites, preferably where we can get by without a car, and have two under 5s. We tend to go early June and like some reliable sunshine! Previous years we've done Parc Albatros(with car) and Union Lido(without) and loved them both, in fact we're tempted to just return to one of them.
If you've done similar and could share your ideas I'd be so very grateful.

Just came back from Camping le serignan plage - flew ryannair to bezier then taxi (eur 35 each way)
I booked direct a cabin with yelloh (nicer accommodation, better located) but eurcamp and thompson both had sites. great for younger kids with new pirate splash pool and kids club and lots of playgrounds but also adults spa and nice beach.

I didnt do any of the entertainment (other than kids disco) as single mum but there were shows etc very night.

I think there are several other campsites further along the coast also accessible from Bezier.

Thank you, that's really helpful. Serignan plage was my favourite but I was struggling to find out about flights as ryanair have no details for next May/June yet. Do you happen to remember which day of the week you flew on? The different holiday companies seem to have different set days they offer vans from and to so it's a case of finding the cheapest on the right days. I'm trying to book whilst there are still discounts! Thanks again.

i flew out on a friday and back on a monday from manchester - from memory there were also flights into bezier from bristol and edinburgh

i can definitely recommend the Pecheur cabins - really close to the beach (100 yards!)

I met people who had flew in elsewhere but i think most had then hired a car.

Thanks fijamez. I have taken the plunge and booked serignan plage so I just hope we can get there somehow! I ended up overbooking by a day or two at Unfortunately there was nothing left direct with yelloh so I've booked with selectcamp, they were cheap, I hope they're ok!

oops, that should have said I overbooked a day or two at each end of the fortnight as it wasn't much more money wise but will give us more flexibility with flights, we can then adjust the days we go accordingly.
