Hi been to look at tents today and really liked the montana 6, however friends have just bought and don't want to copy!! basically what we are after is:

something very similar i.e. SIG, plenty of living space, would like it to be slightly darker for sleeping.

What is Sunncamp like as a make?

The have a good reputation. Do they go up 'outer first' or as one? The monty is an outer first or as one, and I wouldn't want an inner first tent, too much of a faff for me.

Similar, expect it doesn't have a fully sig...but dies have a sig in the bedroom is the outwell indiana. They are blue and, I think, a little darker.

I would be interested to know if anyone as got a sunncamp??

I'd ask on UKcampsite....lots of sunncamp devotees there Smile

Is it definately a tunnel tent you're looking for? and deffo a sig? The Indiana has a sort of sig as I'm sure you examined at Go Outdoors!

Outwell do a Sunn Valley but it's more expensive than a Monty (is that possible? Grin) It has a sig and is dark blue.

There are some Sunncamps \link{http://www.outdoormegastore.co.uk/acatalog/Outdoor_Megastore_Tunnel_Tents_59.html\here} I like the idea of a cooking annexe but they aren't that much darker than a Monty!

I really liked everything about the montana 6 although would be perfect if slightly darker, previously we had been considering the vango diable but after seeing the montana i much prefer that, i will look at the sunn valley one now

the sunn valley doesn't have a sig, it's a detachable bathtub one

I have seen then up and they are nice roomy tents, I personaly find the shape a little strange....daft as I know they are good tents. Smile

When we saw the 'up' it had been throwing it down with rain and very windy and they were bone dry inside.

LucyCampCat · 18/06/2006 18:22

and you want a fully sealed in jobby? trip lip and all?

ok I'll keep looking!

Janbo25 · 18/06/2006 19:14

yes fully sealed, I know that the trip hazard could potentially be very dangerous but I must admit still prefer them.

Thanks
