to buy or not to buy? seen mixed reviews on this tent but it looks suitable for our needs. if not can anyone recomend a tent 6 man with plenty of living space for if it rains?

Mine arrived today and I've put it up in the garden to test it ready for trip at the weekend. By my relatively novice standards it looks great. It is huge and I chose particularly because had option to sleep 6 or 4 (and then have bigger living area). Seems very well made and reasonable price on Amazon.

its either this or a higear 8 man tent at the moment

can you have the larger sleeping area as just one bedroom? and will it fit a double and 2 single air beds in just that one room? if we are camping as 4 we would probably use the small bedroom pod as somewhere to store all the kit as we wont have a car by the time we plan to go camping. please do come back after you have been on your trip and let me know your thoughts im looking for something to last and that will stand up well against wind and rain too

I have a vango samara 600 and it is massive! Plenty of room inside especially with the front canopy 8m x 4m I think.
