Im going to Red Shoot camping site in Ringwood New Forest. Anyone else?

We are away over the bank holiday.
Would be lovely (and naive) to think the sun will last that long.

Suns would be good, we have a garden to play/sit and MN in and we could do with another BBQ.

We're off to Scotland next week but the week after we're going here

We're off to Budemeadows campsite in Cornwall on Monday for 10 days - we've had our fingers and toes crossed for weeks that the nice weather would last . I don't think the temps are going to match the highs in the south east (where we love), but if it doesn't rain we won't complain

We have just booked Nayburn Lock in York for Mon-Weds when we saw the forecast. I am very happy

We're off to Wadebridge for 4 nights this week - can't wait as its a small site with a pool so hopefully the kids will just be in and out of the pool

Where are these golden suns? Not in the NW of England I bet as I need to wash my sleeping bags & clean the groundsheet before going off again please.
Mind you it would be nice not to be experiencing 'bastard syphilitic rain' to quote slubber

typical.we're just back from a week of torrential rain which was grim :(

We're going to Devon tomorrow, staying there for a week. Forecast for Tuesday onwards looks great .

We live in Devon. Just having a couple of days of rain but otherwise has been non-stop sunshine and summer since the 3rd week in June. It's fab and frankly, we deserve it after last year!

Forest of Dean for seven nights for us from Monday. Like duchesse I think we're owed it after last summer. Hanging on to the tent in 50mph winds was not my idea of a good time.

We're going to Eweleze this Weds-Thurs, can't wait. Bring on the big fat smiley suns!! Spent 4 days at the Dower House campsite in Thetford Forest (Norfolk) last week and I highly recommend it.

We are off tomorrow to Ringwood area. It's blowing a gale outside atm so I'm rather worried. Don't mind so much putting the tent up in the rain because we bought a flysheet first model for that reason, but wind is a different matter!

We are at eweleaze at the moment Mrsmcenroe. Lovely yesterday. Rain and high winds today. Poles snapping evrywhere. Just calming now. Looking good for next week though so have a great time!

We are camping mon- Friday. We are lucky it was booked months ago. We have been very lucky with weather this year ( touch wood) three very hot camping trips.

I would love to chase the sun, but then everywhere good is booked.

We're going on Thu for the BH. Would love a 4th sunny camping trip to round off the year. :)

Am having to pray it will last into next week are we're off to Cornwall for 5 nights on the Bank hol Monday.

We are off to Long Meadow in The New Forest tomorrow. Packed the car yesterday and can't wait to go!

We usually camp in May and June when the nights are still vey cold so I'm trying to get my head around possibly being too hot in my sleeping bag!

Just wish we had booked a week rather than 4 nights but when I phoned to try and extend our stay they were fully booked.
