Right, where can I go camping in North Norfolk tomorrow?

And recomendations?

Not Deepdale, already been this year, probably won't get in.

Not Clipseby, wouldn't get in anyway.

Not High Sand Creek.

Needs to be dog friendly
Have good showers and loos
Nearish to shops or good shop on site

Can anyone suggest anywhere else wonderful? Pretty pretty please?

Don't go to north Norfolk. Go to the south of France, if you can be there and pitched by Friday lunchtime that would be helpful as I can pop round and borrow your Forge Steel.
That would be great.

TIA xx

The south of France is wonderful I am led to believe. For a start there is an abundance of cheap wine which north Norfolk is not famed for.

Kelling Heath, Holt?!?!

V dog friendly, superb shower block.

SweepTheHalls · 11/08/2013 11:15

Another vote for kelling Heath here!

KatyMac · 11/08/2013 11:16

DD & DH are performing at Kelling Health next Sunday

TaffyandTeenyTaffy · 11/08/2013 11:19

Yep - Kelling Heath is fab :-)

MegBusset · 11/08/2013 11:26

Manor Farm at East Runton. Half the price of Kelling/Clippesby, beautiful views, good toilet blocks, a dog-friendly field and easy walking distance to shop (Co-op) and Cromer.

Talkinpeace · 11/08/2013 18:32

manor farm cromer / east runton

been there twice love it

Talkinpeace · 11/08/2013 18:32

whoops - should have read that was already on the list !

KatyMac · 11/08/2013 20:38

Hunstanton is nice

GobblersKnob · 11/08/2013 22:33

Thank you all, will look into Kelling Heath and Manor Farm looks perfect and will definately be tried in the future.

We have had a change of plan and have decided to do some redecoration this week Hmm

Deersglade about 15 mins from Cromer

SlubberdeCauliflowerFloret · 12/08/2013 21:11

I will bash my pegs in with my tiny halford mallet and think of you too Gobblers.

monstermissy · 12/08/2013 21:18

Kelling Heath is lovely but... The farm next door is called breck farm, it's cheaper with a nice shower block. You can have your own fires and a quick walk through the woods and you are at kelling Heath and able to use the restaurants etc there :) Wink

ihatethecold · 12/08/2013 21:21

Breck farm has to be the worst place I've ever camped in my lifeBlushBlushBlush

Love manor farm, been many times

KatyMac · 12/08/2013 21:21

Any B&B recommendations? Just realised as they are performing we need a bed for the night

Madamecastafiore · 12/08/2013 21:22

Clippsby is fab.

Dillydollydaydream · 12/08/2013 21:25

I was going to say Kelling Heath.

monstermissy · 12/08/2013 21:34

Ahh really?? We had a really lovely few days there, was a while ago tho so maybe it's not great nowadays...

GobblersKnob · 13/08/2013 00:22

Hmmm, did Breck Farm last year, I was 50/50, was okay but didn't love it.

I know you are doing the decorating instead, but caveyLovesPendleton on this very board was raving about this site at Weybourne last week.

Shame about the decorating - I was swimmig and enjoying the sun on Wells beach yesterday... heading into rainly Sussex with the tent tomorrow Hmm
