I think maybe Boutique Camping. My H is 6"4 and manages ok in 4m bell.Beds and things tend to be stored around the edges anyway and there is plenty of room in the centre.
Bargains are few and far between - I was lucky enough to buy mine from a MNetter Grin

Can't see if definitely got a bug screen but I've just seen this on the Millets website - looks fab!

Thanks ladies- will have a look at the Boutique page thanks and dh is happy your dh is comfy in there at 6ft 4.
They sell that lovey tent in my local camping store but its polyester and we really wanted canvas for the coolness.

I have a 5m soulpad with Zig. I love it. My son is 6'3 and also loves it. I have a 1/4 bedroom pod for myself and ds2, this has bugscreens as well as privacy curtains.

Didn't find bugs to be an issue, even on very hot days when we were able to roll up the sides of the bell for extra ventilation - essential!
I used the trick we had when in Africa. half our before bed I went inside, gave a quick spray up wit insect spray, then exited the tent to let it clear. No bugs in the bedroom pod anyway, and farewell any others - there was enough ventilation through the four windows, each with bug covers.
I have considered using saree material and Velcro to fashion some screens for the doors for the future. :)

Our 4m Soulpad has a bug-mesh door as well as a zip one (its a SIG - the bugs get through the zips easier so I've heard).

Its been the best (dryest) tent we've had so far - not yet seen a bug in it, actually, but only camp in UK and France and no longer bothering to look for them - also tend to be quick to zip it all up again - don't use the mesh door anymore though because it sticks on the velcro and rips and still not seen a bug.
You're less likely to get bugs if no food in tent - and because these tents are cooler and lighter inside.
Bed room inners are even more bug-free, I should think.

I have just bought a 5m bell tent from Boutique Camping. It is lovely. We had to return it due to a fault with the eyelet where the A frame spike goes through the canvas. it popped off. The second one had the exact same fault. Eventually we settled for a replacement eyelet and a £50 refund. Just look out for this if you buy one. Your husband might get a bit pissed off with ducking under the doorway to get in and out, but once he's in will be ok Grin

My friend has a Boutique Camping bell and her doorway is higher than mine (obelink)

Soul pad service is second to none, btw, really rate them.

Our 5m zig from karma canvas has got a mesh front door

Useful for containing the crawling baby

I have a 5m soul pad and it has a mesh door I am pretty sure (I have a wasp sting allergy and so wasp protection was very high on my list of prorities). However in contrast to the above poster I found their customer service shirty to the point of rude once they had my money, and I was really unhappy about it. The groundsheet is PVC rather than PU, PVC is highly toxic, an endocrine disruptor, and very un-eco , so a strange choice for a supposedly eco conscious company. (it is cheap, that's why it gets used I assume) It also made me really wheeze and feel ill generally. (PVC strongly off-gasses) . I complained that it wasn't mentioned in the description, and they were really rude and stroppy about it.

Happened to check this the other day and SoulPad only has mesh doors on the SIG. Boutique Camping and Karma Camping seem to have mesh doors and ZIGs.
