I have googled till i've gone cross eyed. We have a large tent and want electric. With as good a links to London as poss. Pref to the West but don't mind really whether that is also North or South. Any thoughts, experiences or recommendations would be fab thanks.

don't konw if they do ehu, but Crystal Palace park has campsite run by the caravan club. They are pretty central (for a campsite) and CP is Zone 3, on the East London tube line but also direct roots into London Bridge and London Victoria. They are South East, but not far east.

Thank you they are on my list to phone tomorrow but they only list 1 tent pitch so unless I'm really lucky I think I may have missed the boat for Aug!

Have a look at Hurley Riverside. It's near Maidenhead rather than London, but a lovely site and good transport to London

You could try the Scout campsite at Dulwich here. You don't have to be a scout to book.

I don't know anything about any of these here
