Any suggestions for a site somewhere between The Loire and Limoges?

Last year we stayed at Ferme de Prunay near Blois and will probably stay on our way down to the Ardeche. However we need a stop for 3 nights on the way back. Last year we stayed at Château de Leychoisier just north of Limoges, but don't want to stay there again. So anywhere really that allows say 6-7 hours of travel back to the tunnel.
We need something with a nice pool complex and things to see in the area. Oh and also still open in the first few days of September!
Any suggestions?

Can't recommend anywhere, but would you mind saying why you don't want to stay at Château de Leychoisier? It's just that we've booked ourselves there this summer and I hope we've made the right choice.
TIA

Sorry - it makes it sound like a bad site and it's really not at all. The pitches were good and the pool was fine if a little small. There are amazing walks around the grounds and deer on site too (they are really friendly and eat out of your hand). The shower/toilets could do with updating, but if you are in a caravan that won't be an issue.
It just seemed to be very much an overnight stop mainly and the wider area could have been so much more if managed properly. There is a wonderful lake area and woodland walks that really could be fabulous. It looked like that they used to be well kept, but no longer.
The chateau was lovely and the food looked good too. I think I just found it frustrating that it could have been so much more given the wonderful setting. Having said that though, we did go before high season last year and maybe things were maintained better once it got going. I'm sure you'll like it and it's just me!

Thanks v much for your reply. It's a relief for me as I thought something bad had happened there.

How about Etang de La Breche near Samur. Very well kept, restaurant ok but not brilliant, huge huge pitches. It's a Castels site. Samur is nice for strolling round with loads of restaurants. A few chateaux near by - recommend going to Breze.
