We have booked to go here for a week camping soon. Just asking if you have been here what you thought. It looks lovely from our research but I know any comments on here will be honest and unsensored! Many thanks

I haven't camped there but know the area (and have been to a wedding there). It is lovely and there is so much to do in the vicinity. They have also just opened (maybe revamped) the site restaurant which is having very good reviews!

Thanks 4and. Really looking forward to it. Will have to check out the restaurant.

We have been twice, it is lovely, in fact it is my favourite site!It is quite laid back but really well looked after, loos clean and plentiful, nice little shop. There is a good playground and a mini golf, also a games room. It is great to be able to go down for a drink in the evening in the bar, this is not rowdy at all, just really pleasant, we have eaten there as well pre revamp, nice pub food and reasonable. Bude is ok, beaches are good, we have just returned from holiday(not camping, alas) and went there for the day, had lovely day in sea pool and body boarding.Very good Cornish pasties available too! If you google Bude sea pool there are free swimming lessons going on teaching kids how to swim in the sea if your children would be interested? There is indoor swimming pool in Bude with wave machine and slide as well, more suitable for younger children I think.Sandymouth is lovely NT beach just up the road.I would also recommend cycling the Tarka trail, just over border in North Devon but well worth it if you don't mind a drive.

That's fantastic, thanks very much Little. Fingers crossed for the weather now. As long as we can pitch up in the dry that's fine by me!
