Camping next week, starting to get a bit excited!

Well, technically this coming weekend and next week.

This is only our second trip, but we are going to the same place we went to last year. North Wales - beautiful scenery, good facilities, lovely people, shit weather :o

Hoping for better weather this time. And we don't have to take a buggy, so lots of extra space in the car.

Nothing else to add, just wanted to share my excitement with like minded people :o

We're going next week too, also North Wales on the llyn peninsula lets hope the weather is reasonable :)

Last time we spent most of our time in an actual cloud :o

Let's hope for half decent weather. I'm not greedy, I don't mind the odd day of rain :o

I grew up camping in North Wales, it's beautiful!

Oh, and we are staying near Harlech, I have the local weather saved to my BBC weather app!

It is indeed stunning. I just hope it is not as wet and cloudy and then perhaps we will see more of it :o

We used to camp in Talybont/ Dyffryn Ardudwy area.
The Ysgethin is a beautiful bubbling stream there, such a beautiful walk up the stream into the hills/mountains.

We're going on 19th - also North Wales - officially the place to camp this summer .

It will not rain on us or DH will want to revert to a static van next year, so the weather had better buck its ideas up.

I'm still very excited though.

We going to be in the South of England, I think the weather is looking showery tomorrow but getting better from there.

I have just a brainwave. I am going to get a trunk/lidded basket for the clothes to double up as a table in the tent. Seeing as we are not taking the enormous 3 wheeled off roading buggy this year and have a Discovery (13years old, so 'farm' looking :o) so lots of space.

Eeeek! I might actually burst with excitement!

Ooh, just realised the laundry hamper is just what I'm after! Better crack on with clearing it (and stop wittering on on here :o )

Mrs I'm past the bursting with exciting phase, I felt like hat at lunch, now I'm just knackered at the thought of putting over excited DC to bed tonight and I just want out camping adventure to begin!

I've come over all tired, I need to pep myself up again.

Good luck! My eldest is 5.6yrs and gets the whole excitement build up thing now. Luckily she is quite a calm thing, so her excitement is containable :o
