Anyone been to Duinrell in August?

We've been there during a school half term holiday before, and loved it, but partly because you didn't have to queue up for things. Is it worth going to during August or would it be a very different experience?

It was hard to tell what it would be like at full to capacity because the accommodation is so spread out we couldn't tell how many were empty! TIA.

Watching with interest as we went a few years ago at Easter and are going this August!

Ooh, well I'm still jealous, even if it's busy! I hope someone will come along soon enough to tell us Smile

I lived and worked on duinrell for a season Grin

August is busy but most of the Continental holidays are over by then so it's not generally all that bad. Will be busier than half term but it never felt "rammed" as the whole park is so large

Just the person to advise then, thanks 3monthmaid Smile. That's good to know. Queue-wise, for things such as the big wheel and the frog rollercoaster, how long would you expect? We could do laps with he rollercoaster, coming off and going straight back on again, which was part of the thrill for ds.
