Olive oil have only just seen this. But did show the bit in the Sunday times about camping with kids to DS and he is dperate to sleep in a teepee or a yurt but pref somewhere in the north of England. 6 hours to Cornwall doesnt go with the laid back camping ethos or not at least as far as I'm concerned. If anyone knows anywhere with yurts or teepees please let me know. Thanks

we're off to the pot a doodle doo village in northumberland staying in a tippee that should be a little closer for you?

Wow Thanks for the replies.
GF some of those look lovely, might be persuaded to try a little further afield. Janbo25 I saw Pot a doodle, when are you going? Please do tell all, I loved the look and idea of the art centre in case it rains. And open fire well my DS is, I'm sure a pyromaniac and would love to have an open fire.
