Cambridge/Cambridgeshire site recommendations please

Want to go weekend after next. Reasonable travel distance for us and friends from London. I love Cambridgeshire and DH's mum is from Cambridge (town not Uni )any type of site with clean toilet/shower block. Preferably predominantly campers not caravans, family friendly and playground a bonus.

Hi MBJ, we're going to Karmafarm this weekend - Eco camping near Ely (that's all I know so far)- others in the group have gone before so supposed to be good - I'm happy to report back!

We're all quite basic outdoorsy types so I suspect it will be pretty low tech :)

Karma is just outside my Mums village and she went round it a year or so ago (vaguely knows the ones and went to a bbq there) and said it was v nice.

There are a couple just outside Burwell but can't comment on them personally.

We went to Caves Farm Certificated Site, a couple of years ago. It is near Ely. Really nice quiet basic site. There are reviews on ukcampsite.co.uk.
