Tattershall lakes country park

Has anyone been to Tattershall lakes country park in Lincolnshire?

The website looks great, but trip advisor reviews are very mixed.

We're taking one of dd's friends with us, so I don't want to book someone grubby.

We'll be taking our own accommodation so that's not an problem, the things I'd like to know about are;

• Kids entertainment
• Toilet/shower blocks
• Dog walking
• Restaurant/take away facilities.

Its just down the road from me. I know quite a few people who have been and love it.

If you have a look at the facebook page there is a lot of info and pics on there of all the entertainment. Sorry that is all I can tell you.

There is a co op shop in Tattershall /conningsby and also a chinese, indian, fish shop and pizza place.

I think there is a swimming pool on site. Not far from Tattershall (car journey) is Woodhall Spa, Jubilee park there is really good with an outdoor heated pool, they have a lot of activities there through the summer There is also Woodhall woods which is a lovely day out in itself.
Kinema in the woods is also situated in Woodhall Spa, It is a small 2 screen cinema and it is hidden in the woods, it is definatley worth going there if you had chance, it is really old fashioned and when the interval is on a man appears playing an old piano. :)
