Want to take the dcs to Paris for a cheap break in the summer. Have saved up Nectar points for the Eurostar, so just need a recommendation of a site, preferably this side of Paris, preferably with a nice pool, for a family tent . . . .

Thankyoiu

There are three or four sites close by, although we've only stayed at one. You might want to check these out:

quatre vents

le chene gris

We've stayed here at Jablines two or three times. The pitches aren't huge, but our 8 person tent fitted fine; the shower blocks are clean with plenty of hot water, reception staff are very helpful (you can buy park tickets from them if needs be), there's a little shop and playground and it's very secure with two pass-code barriers to go through before you can get in. It's about 15 mins drive to Disneyland. There's no pool, but there's a huge man-made lake in the leisure park next door, with a sandy beach that's lovely on a hot day.

We stayed at quatre vents last year. It was ok - not too busy in the day as everyone was at Disney! No restaurant but it did have a snack van. Pool was refreshing as it was boiling whilst we were there, bit very deep. DS who's 6 couldn't stand up in it. Pitches were huge.
The year before we stayed in Huttopia Versailles. That was an expensive site and the toilet and shower block wasn't great. Pitches were small. Pool was lovely though, and there was a small restaurant. You pay for the location there - its very close to the palace in Versailles and a very short walk to the train station. 15 mins on a train and you're at the Eiffel tower. HTH.

You could always look at this too - further away but within striking distance of the city. Having read your post again, I thought you were looking for sites near Disneyland - apologies!!

Campix has good reviews and is close to Parc Asterix for a great day out. The website tells you how to get into Paris from there and the price of the tickets.
