Dh doesnt think we should go camping this weekend :-(

Ok so he does have a point..it has done nothing but rain. IT has been soo cold at home we have had heating on. DD has just had a chest infection and she is only 5mths. I have a chest infection and cold and am 8wks pg. DH is starting with a cold.
WE are camping novices...but I was sooooooooooooooo looking forward to going and feel a bit gutted now!!

What would you do?

pmsl thanks misdee..also have a 2.7yr old who was getting excited but I do know DH is rightAngry Just really gutted as we have had this planned for about 2 months with friends.

bit too far to drive for the day. Besides friend is also thinking about postponing as she is 10wks pg and has 2 littlies so said its too miserable to take them and sit in the tent the whole time.

where are you going Nemo?

I've just checked the long range forecast for Anglesey and was happy to see next weekend is better than this one. But then I noticed the nighttime temperature will only be 3degrees. That's almost freezing!!

great its actually warmer in liverpool but doesnt feel very warm at all! No camping then!!!SadSadSad

I can dh's point, but so Sad when you've been looking forward to it, can you pencil a long weekend in later in June?

There is nothing more likely to put a dh off camping forever than first pitching in the rain!

thanks LCC yeah we can go camping any time really as wales is only a short drive and he has all weekends off and is able to work flexi. Just gutted as this was the first trip planned with friends etc.

give him a huge hug for being so sensible and thoughful.
stay home.camping is no fun in bad weather.never mind bad weather when you and the kids are unwell.

well dh was very right evidently as dd ended up in hospital on the tuesday..doh However we are going this weekend..yayyyy
