I normally go green but am thinking of a pretty pair this time.

What do you do?

I've done pretty for a while but thinking I need to go Hunter as I keep killing them (dog walking). In order to afford those, I'll have to get the cheapest design I can find.

shirazplease · 21/05/2013 21:02

not sure what size feet you have, but my diddy size 4s fit into a lovely pink pair of kiddy Hunters, at a fraction of the price

I have navy blue hunters which I have practically lived in summer and winter (or it at least feels that way). I spotted a crack in them at the weekend tho Sad ...but at least it means that I can go and buy a new pair of exactly the same Smile

Deep purple Hunters. Love em. TKMaxx occasionally get them in at £40. More autumn/winter time though. Had them on earlier cutting the grass, they are the best.

hz · 21/05/2013 22:17

say no to hunter get some Le Chameau. Rather pricey, to be honest I would never have bought them but husband got them as xmas pressie. They are so comfy, very hard wearing - have had mine 4 years - no cracking and I have danced for hours at festivals in them in complete comfort.

coco4242 · 22/05/2013 06:36

I wish I could afford them HZ!

I know coco, I was shocked when I realised how much they were but they have lasted the distance so far!

hillbilly · 22/05/2013 11:20

Wow hz and I though I was posh with Hunters (violet) Grin

SlubberInAWinkleWagon · 22/05/2013 15:57

Green Aigles.

coco4242 · 22/05/2013 19:09

Are there any decent wellies which don't cost a small fortune?

OP posts:

I like these but have some blue Havainairas (?) bought cheap after my old skool original Hunters gave out after about 20 years. Hunters much better for walking in, though.

Picturepuncture · 22/05/2013 20:01

Don't wear wellies. Flip flops are your friends.

snowmummy · 24/05/2013 22:03

I do cheap - Tescos £12 :)

hillbilly · 25/05/2013 14:19

I don't know Coco, but I think it depends on your feet. I have very narrow feet and so normal wellies fall off me. Same with DD. It's a bummer because I would far rather not spend £50 on wellies!

crockydoodle · 25/05/2013 22:40

I love my aubergine hunters, sort of a dark purple navy colour

nottersgotterdonkey · 25/05/2013 22:47

Slubber, since when did your winkle have a wagon ?

For the thread: black Hunters for me.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 25/05/2013 23:11

Green wellies, customised with coloured dots from a school thingy.
