I have got a cheap ferry crossing to northern france in august for 2 weeks and fancy exploring Normandy with my 11 year old daughter. Any good campsites pref near water that are slightly alternative/querky?

Where will you be arriving? (Which port?)

The Cotentin peninsula is lovely (down from Cherbourg) or around St Malo?

Gold Beach Camping in Arromanches was very nice, child friendly, right by the sea, not far from beach and from Bayeux. It was not terribly quirky tbh but it was lovely.

Chateaux les eaux - not quirky really but your 11 yr old daughter would love it, I'm sure.
