Are they any good?

I bought one on spec. Looks huge on the packet, but I'm not sure if it'll be useful as a garden shade thingy or what.

We have two sun sails and took them camping as well as putting them to use as cover during the wet summer last year. It kept the worst of the rain showers off, so we could still bbq and sit out, rather than keep retreating!

How big is the one at Lidl? Is it UV proof?

They have super mats as well which are 2x3 metres but oblong, so great for outside a caravan but not really a bell tent

No two...one at each end I think. And sort of batman style shape iykwim. you tie down the side bits and each end with guy lines.

We got one from lidl a few years ago, sounds the same. Still going strong. PITA to get upright though!
