Anyone been to Nantcol Waterfalls?

Have had my eye on this site for a while now, has anyone been?
The reviews do look good and the photos make it look brilliant, would like to hear from someone who has been.

We have just come back from a weekend there!

What do you want to know?

It was lovely! Very peaceful (no mobile signal but has wifi that you can pay for). Good facilities - separate blocks for toilets (5), washroom (3 sinks), showers (3) for the ladies. Shower cards last for 5 minutes.

Plugs in washroom, laundrette and shower blocks - useful for mobile charging!

Campfires allowed.

We are definitely going again!

Heaven.

Bit of a tight fit if you want to get a caravan down the approach road but brilliant for tents.

Need to keep a close eye on toddlers as there is a lot of water around but older kids love the freedom and the paddling.

Yes, it is a fabulous site. Loved the dusk visits by the lad of the campsite owners on quad bike and trailer selling kindling and wood for the campfires.

What do you do about needing to call home, is there no mobile signal at all?

You can get a signal if you walk half way up the hill at the back of the site. There is a style over the wall and I usually find an nice rock to sit on.

It is perfect for me and the kids, we love it and have booked for august already

Oh my yes, we used to know a lady who owned a cottage up the hill the kids used to love Nantcol Falls.
