Advice please south of France campsite August!!

Hi all I am a seasoned camper and we normally take our own tent to dordogne or Loire or vendee but this year we need a rest and better chance of good weather so want to go a place in the south in a mobile home or tent that is already there and up for us! Luxury!
I want something authentic ish though and even though the eurocamp sites in provence etc look great I wonder would they have a good mix of nationalities as want kids to mix and speak a bit of French - also would like a decent restaurant on site if possible. I will never forget a last minute canvas holiday a few years back when we went to a site in Brittany but hated it - it just had a pub type bar and a chip shop !
Any suggestions? Have been looking at pachacaid, etoile d'argent, pecheur in roquebrune - any other suggestions please.
Need a nice pool area maybe views but a nice atmosphere where kids will have a great time (10 and 13) without being too holiday camp-ey if you know what I mean.
Come on I know some of you will be able to advise me what to do...
We are going last two weeks in August so hoping to avoid the really busy period but still hoping for a buzz for the kids. I am thinking that of we are on a nice site with a good pool and restaurant we will all be happy!

We went to a site called Neptune in Agde a few years ago and had a lovely time. Gets good reviews on uk campsite.

It has some mobile homes, a pool, shop, games area. When we were there the other families were either French or Dutch and the kids made friends very quickly. It was a short walk along the canal to the beach and there were cafes and restaurants next to the beach.

Pachacaid is a fabulous site. Check out trip advisor to see the positive reviews. We went there for the second time last year when our children were 11 and 14 and they really really enjoyed it. Pool and slides are fab, location beautiful, weather glorious, a great family holiday all round. I like the terracing which means if you're in an even numbered mobile you overlook the wonderful views.

Last year we looked at sites on the castel website as they tend to have nice sites. We found site we liked and then booked it with them directly. Alot of french campsites have their own mobile homes or posh tents.

We had a lovely mobile home which compaired to booking with a british company the year before was much better value and nicer (it even had a coffee percolator in it!)

Check out La Petite Carmague by Yelloh near Montpellier. Hire bikes for easy acces to a nature reserve and a lovely marine; there is also a shuttle to a fab beach nearby.

There were next to no English there when we went which means the kids' club is jot that good but I don't see that as a problem.
