Bassin D'Arcachon - camping in a tent: any tips??

We are hoping to get to the Bassin D'Arcachon for holidays this year. We will be camping - in a tent!! I am hoping to find a campsite with a decent pool/waterslides but most important are clean facilities!
If you've been there what are the cycle paths like?? Where did you stay and where would you recommend?? Thanks in advance for any advice

Can't recommend a campsite, but be sure to climb Le Plus Grand Dune D'Europe!

I quite like the look of that area too, been looking at panoramic du pyla on the yelloh website which looks good and I ahve read good reviews of. Just unclear how far a walk/drive/cycle it is from nearest town

I really can't remember. It's years since I was there as a kid. I remember climbing the dune though. Such fun!
