Far Peak campsite in northleach is a fantastic site to take the children to.
The children love the back to basic, playing with a bat a ball or football and making there own fun there is no play area or club house so that will save you a fortune.
There is a indoor rock climbing wall also on site but that is charged extra and its still great value for a days climb.
Plenty of walks to go on and place to visit in the cotswold.
We couldnt believe how much the children enjoyed going on to a camp site with out all the entertainment but they love and are always asking to go back to far peak.
caravan, tents, children and dogs are permitted on site with electric and non electric pitch to choose from in about 6 fields (4 fields with electric hook up).
well worth a visit and its great to see the children having to make there own fun...like we had to has children!
i would suggest you do do take activitys, bats, balls etc for them to play with.
Also a tourch as there are no lights on site except for the shower/toilet blocks which make watching the stars at night fantastic.
looking forward to the site to reopen in march/april time.
