Driving to France - Foodie question

If I took my frozen block of bolognaise in my mini freezer bag with frozen blocks, would it be ok to heat and eat when we arrive at our campsite?

Leaving tomorrow morning, chunnel in the afternoon, staying overnight in a travel-lodge, then arriving in campsite Monday afternoon. Will it survive the trip to be scoffed by starving family?

We did exactly the same as you last year and were fine - IIRC, it was still cold when we took it out of the coolbox. We all survived with no ill-effects and are planning on doing the same this year. So nice to know after driving all that way and putting up tent at the end - while dcs are pestering to be taken to the pool - that there is an easy meal to look forward to!

Yes, it should be fine. If you have anything else thats possible to freeze stick that in too, milk etc. Then make sure it's well heated through.

We did the same, too. In fact, with all that frozen stuff near it and with freezer blocks, too, if you don't open the coolbox, you might find it's still frozen!
