dont have a clue how to find a campsite!

We've wanted to give it a bash for ages and now a friend has very generously offered to let us borrow her gear so we can Rey it out before spending a fortune on our own.

Problem is, I have no idea about campsites or even where to look - is there a website that gives a list?

Ideally we are looking to be within 2 hours drive from stanstes (so if we don't like it we can come hime!), with things for the kids such as a beach or parks nearby and one that will happily allow our dog on site. Oh and a campfire would be nice.

Can anyone point me in the right direction please :)
