my dds are 6 and 10. We went to festylandBayeux tapestryCaen memorial Both enjoyed all. There is a lovely cafe very close to the tapestry that does really nice crepe' s.

The place in Caen was good but younger one did get fed up first would have been better if we had know it was a 24hr ticket so you can go late on one day and then the next as well. There was also a audio guide which we weren't told about. This may have been because children under 10 were free and Bayeux had let us in only paying for the adults they also had to as we had a voucher. There seamed to be money off a few things once you had been to one place

Where are you staying? I've just got a new guide book - France for Families, I can consult it for you!

Cherborg has a sea museum, cité de la mer. Also an aquarium and you can also visit a nuclear submarine. At the quai de caligny is a Viking ship replica.

St michaels mount

Woody park at fécamp has a treetop adventure course

D day beaches.

Rouen town looks nice, gothic architecture and big cathedral.

Le Brevedene campsite. Hoping to spend time on the campsite (to make it a cheap holiday) and will certainly visit the tapestry. Must research how far away everything is from us!
