Yay the roofbox locked first time - let's go camping!

We are doing camping in a much more minimalist way this year and it's all fitted into the car (& roofbox obviously) - and without the trailer this year which dh is most pleased about.
So at 5am tomorrow morning when you are all sleeping we shall be on our way to France for some hot sunshine, cheap wine & yummy cheese. I shall return (possibly) in 3 weeks so everyone have a fantastic time on your holidays and be sure once we've left the country the sun will shine for you all. Much love The Lucycats

Hello all from the S of France - we appear to ahve wifi on our pitch so I thought I'd check in. Jeez is it hot here - currently 9pm and 25c. lots of excitement here last night as a motorhome had a gas leak so we all had to be evacuated to the bar/restaurant area for 4 hours from 6.30pm. Cue lots of fire engines, gendarmes, & tired children, lots of whom were still in their swim wear as they couldn't get back to their tents. Site is lovely though, dusty as you'd expect and very Dutch but even so - lovely. Off to the pont du gard tomorrow for some Roman sightseeing & river swimming. Hope everyone is having a good camping summer
