Is good weather really on its way this weekend?

Has anybody else heard this?! I'm thinking about getting camping stuff sorted ready to escape in our bell tent...

Lunchtime forecast suggests its going to be good - rather handy as we're off camping for a night this weekend :)

depends where you are going. A fair few showers down the eastern half of the uk saturday afternoon. Rain in northern England and Scotland on Sunday. Though remember its only Tuesday so the forecast may change.

Hello OYBBK - love your forecasts! I'm addicted to the weather section and you are famous!

I'm camping in the south east this weekend and am wondering if I can risk leaving the thermals at home this time ( only just thawed out after our camping trips in May and the Jubilee weekend!)

Forecast say's temps between 12 and 15 at night - so I'm thinking we will be fine with just sleeping bags ( hopeful).

It is looking rather better this weekend for the SE now :) Friday evening might be a bit wet for pitching. Probably a minimum of 10C in rural areas I'd have thought.
Taking down the tent might be rather blowy on Sunday, so if you get a choice of pitch bear in mind that they are SWesterlies.
