We're travelling down to towards Agen (from Calais) & want to spend about 3 nights camping on the way down. Looking on the map somewhere at the La Rochelle level would be good. Can anyone recommend any nice campsites (pref nothing too big), we will be taking our own tent.
Not been to La Rochelle / Ile de Re - are they really busy? Is there anywhere a bit off the beaten track that would be nicer? Doesn't have to be there & doesn't HAVE to be by the sea but it would be a nice plus, but would consider other settings too.
