Rainy camping...

Hello
We are novice campers and so far have camped for a weekend near to home (popped back and forth).

We are heading down to Wales for our first "proper" camping experience but I am a bit worried about the weather...

Apart from water proofs for us all, is there anything you would recommend for camping in wet weather?

Thanks!

I will be adding some of these things to my packing list and fear the van will be bursting at the hinges.

Spare old towels, for wiping up leaks/drips/puddles from ill-placed boots.

I just cancelled my second camp of the 'summer' due to a combo of ill health and pisspoor weather Sad, but I was going to take the over-bath clothes airer we have. Folds flat in the car but I thought it would be handy to have somewhere to drape waterproofs, attempt to dry towels, etc.

Some cardboard to use as mats to the tent entrance. Will soak up mud/ water off your footwear and you can bin the lot before you come home!
