My family (kids 6 and 3) and a friend (kids 6 and 3 and twins aged 1!!) are going on holiday this summer. We want it to be nearish italy (friend has to drive there afterwards) but otherwize we are flexible. We are looking mountains or at least hills or climbing ideally-not interessted in sea (husbands keen climbers/ and off road runners).
The most important thing is a nice campiste with a swimming pool. We also want to be able to walk/bike to a village if possible and ideally for there to be other nice quite places to bike to in the surroundings.
To me it doesn't sound like much to ask and I am sure there are a zillion places but it is hard to find out about how easy it is to walk/bike around the campiste as they never tell us this information it seems. I think personal recommenedation will be the answer.
