Any ideas folks? We went to great langdale which we liked, although it was a bit big and pricey, kids loved it. Would like to try somewhere else....

Fisherground at Eskdale? Adventure playground, La'l Ratty train to Ravenglass...

We've been to fisherground which was great and the boys loved it but the owners / wardens are a bit full on (we nicknamed them camping nazis). If the weather is good its pretty perfect as there is a pond with rafts on, adventure playground and a stream plus a narrow gauge railway. Probably better for school age kids than pre-schoolers.

Downside is its a long way from anywhere with indoor stuff to do if the weather is shite.
