We want a cheapish weekend tent so we can leave the monstrosity at home.

Budget £150ish?

Ideally one with a largish bedroom at back plus some living space at front. There are 4 of us, inc dds 9 &7.

Any recommendations please? Or Dear God avoid like the plague jobs?

TIA

We got this voyager 6 last summer and it's great. Really quick to put up and loads of room.

We've also got a smaller version mojave5

The smaller one is fine for weekends or for a few days when you can guarantee good weather as the living space is a bit small.

We now have a whole family of tents I am ashamed to to admit Blush but think the monstrous Vango Aspen may now end up on Ebay as it's just too big.

Try looking at Decathlon. They do some good pop up tents.
We have the Xxl llll to use at weekends, but they also do some slightly bigger ones with stand up height and more day space.
Very easy to put up and take down

We have a Vango Icarus 600, it's our only tent. Has a large living area and the bedroom pod comfortably sleeps 4 of us. Really easy to put up too. The pod is one room but has a divider sheet, which we don't use. We bought it for the larger living area and aren't disappointed.

I second Decathlon family pop ups. We have a small ish one (4.1) which has one bedroom and a living area but it would be too small for your family. The 4.2 or 4.2 XL might work. Two bedrooms with a living space between them and really quick to put up and take down (once you have the hang of it)
